Below are areas of need in which Avid Pediatric occupational therapists can provide support to facilitate your child's ability to participate more independently in activities of daily living (ADLs):


  • Motor skill delays
  • Visual motor and perceptual deficits
  • Coordination and safety concerns (i.e., frequent falling and balance issues)
  • Sensory processing difficulties (i.e., sensitivity to sounds or textures, sensory seeking behaviors, )
  • Executive functioning deficits (i.e., organizational skills, task completion, transitions, etc.)
  • Difficulty with play skills and/or flexibility in play and ADLs
  • Self-regulation concerns
  • Medical diagnoses (e.g., Autism, Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, ADHD, apraxia, low or high tone etc.)
