Discovery Call

Schedule a free discovery call by email or phone! During this 15-30 minute phone call, you have the opportunity to discuss your concerns, ask questions, and decide if Avid Pediatric is the right fit for you and your child.

Evaluation

Evaluations will take place at your home, at your child's school, or using a Telehealth platform. The setting for your child's evaluation will be determined during the discovery call based on the most appropriate environment you and your clinician discuss. During the evaluation, clinicians will engage in a play-based assessment process while utilizing the appropriate standardized assessments and integrating caregiver report to determine your child's individual needs. 

Develop a Treatment Plan

The general results of your child's evaluation will be discussed on the day of the evaluation. You will be provided with a more detailed evaluation report and discuss the recommended treatment plan with you evaluator within 2 weeks of the evaluation. You and your clinician will collaborate to determine the most appropriate plan for you and your child.

Schedule Therapy Sessions

Therapy will take place in the location determined by you and your clinician, typically in the comfort of your home or at your child's school. Avid Pediatric offers 30 minute, 45 minute, and 60 minute therapy sessions. The frequency of sessions can vary as well, but we typically recommend 1-2 sessions per week. These factors will be determined during the discussion of the treatment plan and can be adjusted as needed!
